We are excited to announce Harborough Platinum Jubilee Weekend. This year we want you to get together with friends and families and celebrate #PlatinumJubilee with us at #HarboroughJubileeWeekend. The event takes place on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th June 2022 at Market Harborough Showground.

The Platinum Party

Taking place on Saturday 4th June 2022 from 15:00 – Midnight

Komodo Fireworks will be hosting a night of tribute acts and local bands on stage to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the Harborough Showground. Gates opening at 15.00 with acts starting at 16.00 until 22.00. The night will be completed with an amazing fireworks display choreographed to music by the award winning, 2 x British Musical Fireworks Champions and local professional display team Komodo Fireworks.

With plenty of delicious food stalls, a licensed bar for you to enjoy and entertainment for all ages including a funfair and local craft stalls, this promises to be a fantastic night.

The Big Jubilee Lunch

Taking place on Sunday 5th June 2022 from 12.30pm – 23:00

This year as part of the celebrations marking The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, communities are being encouraged to share friendship, food and fun with neighbours during The Big Jubilee Lunch. Komodo Fireworks will take us back in time and bring us a day of family fun and entertainment .

So, pack up a lunch picnic, bring your sharing plates and join your local community for a day of family and friends. On stage will be the big bands, the foot tapping, sing along music we all love. The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks finale and a few little added extras.

EXTRA INFORMATION:

This event is FREE to all under 16’s. We want families to come together and enjoy this special occasion. Please remember to book your FREE child ticket. (All under 16’s must be accompanied for the whole event by a paying adult)

Saturday 4th June – No food or alcoholic drinks to be brought onto site.

Sunday 5th June – Bring your own picnic or book one of our picnic hampers /afternoon teas freshly prepared and ready to collect on the day and for you to enjoy. No alcohol to be brought onto site.

Treat yourselves to one of our Gazebo Packages – A pre erected 3m x 3m gazebo, complete with seating for 6 people, priority parking and 6 adult tickets , lets us set you up for a chilled day.

Please feel free to bring your own blankets, foldable chairs and tables and set up your own place to sit and enjoy the event. (Please note no structures/gazebo will be permitted unless pre booked as the Gazebo Package)

Priority Parking is available to purchase giving ticket holders a separate entry and exit with designated parking closer to the main arena. Ticket required for each car on each day.

The Market Harborough Showground has 60 Acres of land with access to 15 acres of additional car parking. Located just outside of the historic town of Market Harborough.
